Hotel Wi-Fi: the invisible comfort guests only notice when it fails.

A palace guest never compliments the Wi-Fi. They mention it when the video call drops in the suite, when a conference saturates the function room, when the connection stops at the poolside.

Density

A hotel is sized by device, not by room.

It is the sector's most common sizing mistake: counting rooms. A single guest brings three to five devices of their own.

Three to five devices per guest
Phone, watch, tablet, and the room's own IoT. A hundred occupied rooms is three to five hundred simultaneous associations — before staff and visitors are counted at all.
The function room concentrates everything
Six hundred guests in a palace hotel is event-grade density in a space designed for a buffet. The rest of the hotel can be flawless and that one room will still make the network's reputation.
The building works against the radio
Load-bearing walls, mirrors, marble, lifts, fire doors. Coverage validated on plan does not always survive the real building — that is what an on-site survey measures.
Guests do not configure anything
A guest will not read instructions. The network has to be secure by construction: client-to-client isolation, the operations network kept separate, and nothing to set up.

Rooms & suites

Wi-Fi 6E per floor rather than one access point per corridor. The wall between two rooms is the first obstacle, and nobody sleeps in the corridor.

Function rooms

Sized by capacity, exactly as an event would be. This is the only part of a hotel where density approaches that of a conference hall.

Restaurants & common areas

Variable flow, metal furniture, irregular ceiling heights. Roaming matters here more than raw throughput.

Gardens & pools

Outdoor coverage, hardware rated for humidity and exposure, and a clean handover with the interior so the connection does not drop at the door.

The approach

We measure the hotel occupied, not empty.

A survey run on an off-season Tuesday morning says nothing about the night of a full conference. Sizing starts from real occupancy.

    Coverage audit

    RF measurement, spectrum analysis and wired-link validation, area by area. The method is detailed on the Wi-Fi audit and site survey page.

    Capacity-based sizing

    Three to five devices per guest, target occupancy, conference peaks. The number of access points follows from that, not from a floor-area ratio.

  3. 03

    Security and separation

    Secure guest BYOD, client-to-client isolation, the operations network kept apart from the guest network. WPA3 in transition mode so the existing device estate keeps working.

  4. 04

    Deployment and SLA

    Phased installation so no floor has to close, then a service commitment at the level a five-star property requires.
