Official Aruba Trainings This lab-intensive Implementing Aruba WLANs course is designed to provide students the knowledge, skills and practical experience required to set up and configure a basic Aruba WLAN. Using lectures and labs, the 3-day Scalable WLAN Design and Implementation (SWDI) course builds upon concepts introduced in the Implementing Aruba WLANs course. SWDI covers content enabling the student to understand and implement advanced topics included in Aruba's firewall features such as policy design, authentication and role derivation. Additionally, it covers subject material for building complex networks using Aruba's Remote APs and multi-controller environments based upon the Campus WLAN Reference Architecture 3.3 for network design and redundancy. This class combines the IAW and SWDI classes into a single 5-day class. Students registering for this class should be prepared for an accelerated format of the IAW and SWDI classes. A prerequisite understanding of wireless fundamentals is mandatory, as well as VLAN fundamentals, data flow and control in a network, and basic routing principles. This advanced, lab intensive, three-day instructor-led course is designed to enable systems administrators and WLAN managers to successfully troubleshoot their Aruba wireless LANs. The course presents a systematic approach to network troubleshooting, including how to identify issues and gather data pertinent to rapid problem resolution. This course is designed to meet the needs of wireless network professionals responsible for deploying and troubleshooting 802.11/802.11n (Wi-Fi) wireless networks. This comprehensive course covers the essential concepts of Radio Frequency (RF) technology, RF-related spread spectrum and modulation technologies, the fundamental operation of wireless LANs for effective WLAN problem analysis and troubleshooting. It describes also the rules governing wireless LANs, to comply with local radio regulations for setup and maintenance of WLANs. EDU-AIRWAVE Airwave Wireless Management Suite 2 days This hands-on course provides the knowledge and experience required to install and use the AirWave Wireless Management Suite (AWMS): AirWave Management Platform (AMP), RAPIDS, and Visual RF. Structured labs provide students individual time with the AMP server and a series of exercises that progress from monitoring single-vendor networks to the configuration and reporting of complex, multi-vendor networks. Aruba Certifications ARUBA CERTIFIED MOBILITY ASSOCIATE (ACMA) ARUBA CERTIFIED MOBILITY PROFESSIONAL (ACMP) ARUBA CERTIFIED MOBILITY EXPERT (ACMX) CWNP Official Trainings CWNA CWNA Wireless Network Administration 5 days The Wireless LAN Administration course, whether in an academic format or a 5-day fast-track format, provides the networking professional a complete foundation of knowledge for entering into or advancing in the wireless networking industry. From basic RF theory to 802.11 frame exchange processes, this course delivers hands on training that will benefit the novice as well as the experienced network professional. CWTS CWTS Certified Wireless technology Specialist 2 days As individuals, businesses, and organizations demand easier access to information, technology continues to evolve to meet that demand. One significant contribution has been the development and growth of wireless technology. In this course, you will explore the fundamentals of wireless technology and configure wireless solutions. Ericsson Multiservice Edge Routing This course focuses on the BXR5000, a service edge router that combines switching and routing technologies within a single, IP-based device. Offering Quality of Service (QoS) and connection management to support Layer 2 switched data services, as well as the capability for Layer 3 IP service offerings, such as internet access and L2 and L3 MPLS/VPNs.
Optical Network Design In this course you will learn the technology, architecture, and applications of DWDM. We will review DWDM system components as well as the end-to-end optical network design process. Ericsson Multiservice ATM Switching This course is designed for systems engineers and technical operations/support personnel who require a thorough understanding of Ericsson ATM products. The ServiceOn Data course was designed for systems engineers, technical operations and support personnel who require a thorough understanding of Ericsson's ServiceOn Data network management product. The ATM Signalling, Traffic Management and Diagnostics course was designed for systems engineers, technical operations and Network Operations Center (NOC) to provide advanced technical awareness of the theory of operating ATM networks, focusing on signalling, traffic management and PNNI concepts and configuration.
